The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
